The Request for Bids for Alchemist Public Market closed on Monday, March 9, at 2:00 PM (PST). Bids were opened on March 9 at 2:01 PM. The Apparent Lowest Bidder has been identified as D.G. Granade Inc., with a total bid of $12,995,000. We are currently conducting our standard verification process to confirm that the apparent low bidder has satisfied all bid submission requirements and criteria outlined in the bid documents. We will notify all bidders once this review is complete and a Notice of Award has been issued.

PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NAME: Alchemist Public Market
PROJECT LOCATION: 341 N. 10th Street, Sacramento, California 95811
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: New Construction of 9,460 square feet of type 5 structures consisting of two one story structures, which will house a kitchen, café, retail space and office areas; and two food pod structures which will house two small kitchens in each pod. The project will also include new infrastructure, accessory structures and associated site improvements.
FUNDING:
This project will be partially funded with Federal Funds from the United States Department of
Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the federal laws
and regulations associated with that program.
