Organization Overview
Alchemist Community Development Corporation (Alchemist CDC) is a Sacramento-based nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting communities to land, food, and opportunity. Through food access programs, certified farmers’ markets, workforce development, food business incubation, and community-centered placemaking initiatives, Alchemist CDC advances equity, economic mobility, and regional food system resilience.
Purpose of This RFP
Alchemist CDC is seeking proposals from qualified IT consulting firms to support the hardware selection, systems integration, and operationalization of a campus-wide IT environment for Alchemist Public Market, preparing to launch construction in Sacramento’s River District.
This engagement will span the final design, construction, and pre-opening phases of the project (approximately 8 months), culminating in a fully operational and integrated IT environment at launch.
Ideally, the selected firm will also provide ongoing managed IT services and support for Alchemist Public Market following installation. The long-term intent would be for the selected firm to expand to managing all Alchemist CDC hardware, software, and IT services by the end of 2027.
This RFP is specifically focused on hardware systems, infrastructure alignment, and cross-system integration at Alchemist Public Market.
